Movie Review: Paul
"Paul" - Simon Pegg and Nick Frost Do It Again
The dynamic duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, are back for another comedy movie of their unique flavor. The actor/writer combo are most famous for their hit movie Shaun of the Dead, timed perfectly to follow the 2004 rendition of Dawn of the Dead, as well as their police comedy Hot Fuzz, but you might better know Simon Pegg as Scotty from the new Star Trek movie that came out in 2009.

A Second Opinion - PAX East 2011
Hello everyone! For a while Jim has been asking me to sit down and write for the Channel Hide blog to get a second opinion on things. It seems appropriate. I've been a part of Hidesquadron for many years and I'm excited to see where things could go in the future after meeting all of the amazing people at PAX. My gaming preferences and the things I look for in a game differ from Jim's in several ways and I think that this is a strength that he asked for my differing opinion on the convention.There were tons of things to do at PAX, and it was impossible to do them all. I'll try to talk about things that Jim didn't get a chance to in his first post, to spread out the experience a little.
PAX was amazing. This was the first time I had ever been to a convention of any kind for something that was not mainstream...although with 70,000 people showing up for PAX East, it's probably more mainstream than many of us will admit.

I started this article thinking it would be part II of my PAX East, but instead let's call this an aside. 3D was a significant portion of the PAX showcase this year, and I'm still not 100% buying what Nintendo, Sony, and others are selling. I am NOT saying that 3D is bad. Instead, I think that what I saw isn't what I want in a 3D experience.

PAX East Wrapup - Part I
Happy Tuesday everyone. I'm Jim, and I attended PAX East 2011 in Boston this past weekend.
Allow me this opportunity to exhale a moment, and then I will begin my attempt to convey the following:
HOLY MOSES PAX EAST WAS AWESOME.
With that out of the way, let me rewind and give you the full details. Pour yourself a beverage. This series of posts will be long, because there is simply too much to talk about.
